Nicole
Nicole has practiced massage therapy professionally since 2002. She spent her childhood in Germany and moved to the US in 1988. Her passion for bodywork goes back to grade school where she observed the relief friends and family received from skilled and compassionate touch. Her interest led to her career in massage therapy and bodywork.
Throughout her career, Nicole has worked with a variety of clients. She has helped individuals with physical or developmental disabilities, children and adults. In addition, she has helped people recovering from surgery, individuals diagnosed with cancer, those with acute or chronic pain and individuals battling addiction or substance abuse.
Nicole is devoted to helping her clients address a variety of issues using different modalities (types of bodywork and techniques) to possibly reduce pain, relieve stress and tension, which may help with anxiety, also may help to reduce toxicity, reduce swelling, improve posture, increase mobility, as well as increase energy and vitality. She also works with individuals who wish to develop self-awareness.
Nicole provides Therapeutic Massage, incorporating FSM/Microcurrent into CranioSacral Therapy, Neuromuscular/Trigger Point Therapy, (Myo)Fascial Release, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (sessions may be individual modality or a combination of all). Knowledge of these skills allows her to better address each individual's needs. She is dedicated to educating her clients whenever possible but also believes in learning from clients as well. She believes when clients are more knowledgeable, they are more proactive and empowered. This allows them to play a bigger role in their own wellness regimen.
