This is one of the many ways we can set up a Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) session.
In this video, you’ll watch a live session of FSM therapy at a clinical setting. The practitioner applies ultra-low electrical currents using electrodes placed on targeted areas of the body, showing how specific frequencies are chosen based on the tissue type and condition being treated. Viewers can observe how the device is used, how the patient is positioned and prepped, and how the practitioner monitors the session. The demonstration helps demystify FSM by providing a clear, real-world look at how the modality is delivered—illustrating the gentle nature of the treatment, the equipment setup, and the visual cues of therapeutic application.
🌸 1️⃣ FSM Is Gentle Yet Powerful
Frequency-Specific Microcurrent (FSM) uses very low-level electrical currents that mirror your body’s own natural signals. Most people feel nothing at all — or just a soothing warmth — during treatment. It’s deeply relaxing, yet it works on a cellular level to calm pain and support tissue repair.
“Tiny currents. Big relief. FSM helps your body remember how to heal.”
⚡ 2️⃣ Targeted Frequencies for Targeted Healing
Each FSM setting is tuned to specific tissues — muscles, nerves, fascia, discs, and even scar tissue. The practitioner adjusts frequencies based on what your body needs most, whether that’s neck tension, nerve inflammation, or post-surgical healing.
🩵 Perfect line for social media:
“Every frequency tells your body something different — to calm, repair, or restore.”
🌿 3️⃣ Sessions Are Comfortable and Personalized
FSM is applied with soft damp towels or electrodes, allowing the current to flow through the tissues. Sessions at Longwell Massage Therapy last 60–90 minutes, and relief may come after one session or gradually over several. Frequency depends on your needs — typically 1–2 sessions per week for 2–6 weeks.
(Sessions at Longwell Massage Therapy, Inc. are usually done while the person is lying on their back with pillows/bolsters for comfort whenever possible.)
